> Effexor did give me a lift briefly, then pooped. I was on that awhile. Haven't tried paxil or nardil. I have been thinking of parnate or emsam (worried about side effects of nardil).

Parnate is the more powerful antidepressant.

When Emsam first came out, it seemed that it possessed anxiolytic properties that appeared very early in treatment. Unfortunately, I haven't spoken to my doctor about the long-term success he has had with his patients. I'll try to remember to ask him the next time I see him.

> Does paxil give some people relief?

Definitely. It is probably the most effective SSRI / SNRI for treating anxiety disorders. It is also the most potent serotonin reuptake inhibitor of the SSRIs.

> Usually SSRI's aren't 'enough'--and have fatigue effects. I've started my pristiq 100 trial and promised to see it to the end or unless my pdoc ends it first (I'm in about 2.5 weeks). Nada so far except more fatigue.

The sort of patience that you are exercising will work in your favor, whether it is for Pristiq or some other drug. I hope it works for you.

Thanks. You too.
