As I understand it, taking that amount at bedtime may help some relax and sleep, but can easily make others more alert and restless.

George Eby suggests splitting the dose into 4 and taking with meals. How much to take in the evening is probably a matter of trial and error, but don't be surprised if it keeps you up. Could go either way.
