1 mg of Xanax has an immediacy effect by itself -- its usually given 0.5mg PRN, so you're already getting a fair dose.I would say 50/50 that it is the power of suggestion or placebo, and 50/50 that you are one of the individuals who are somehow affected by P450 CYP 3A4 with grapefruit juice. It really is not normally a significant inhibitor but maybe it is for you.
