Iv seen a few psychs on the NHS in the UK. In my opinion ther a set of self righteous idiots. They dont listen to the wealth of knowledge you have (and i have an extensive one now!!) and are quick to poo poo any alternative meds - my last pdoc compared nutrition n herbal meds too homeopathy!!!!! I was astonished!!!
Even when i told him wot worked theanine NMDA antagonist basically, told him about my anorgasma lackj of sex drive extreme anxiety (dopamine and GABA!) and he gave me celexa, the most unselective, libido killing SSRI - wel thanks doc!!!!
