Mine considers my ideas, sometimes agrees, sometimes has a convincing disagreement as to why it's not a hot idea for me. Ie, when I asked about lyrica, he told me he doubted I'd like it because here I've been complaining about cognitive fuzziness forever, and he believes it would make it worse-possibly cause weight gain, too. Sometimes my ideas would interact poorly, or have risk for side effects that I didn't know about, and wouldn't want. That sort of thing. He's got plenty of his own ideas, too. No shortage of those.
