I do take xanex to help take the edge off when needed (seems like it's been needed everyday lately)
I've been on lexapro about a year and a half, I was on 40mgs for quite some time and it did well. However I was in a bad car accident back in the end of March, I've been off work ever since and still have bad nerve damage in my left leg (I've lost feeling in half of my leg) I think this attributed to the depression becoming worse. I used to only have anxiety real bad and didn't have to deal with the depression aspect. Well needless to say the lexapro wasn't working for the depression so the doc wanted to wean me off and give me something that would deal with both. However I needed something before I got completely off. In comes the effexor- BAD IDEA. The effexor was horrible for me. I was on 75mgs for 2 weeks then up to 150mg and still was horrible. So I told my doc I needed something else so she weaned me off that for about a week and started me on wellbutrin 1 week ago. I have to say the wb s/e's are nothing compared to the effexor because they are very different for me. However, I wasn't crying daily on the effexor.
Well today's a new day. I just took my dose of wb and will put a call into the doc today. I'm praying for something to work soon. I'm so sad. :-(
