my pdoc is in his 70's also, well im not sure, i just saw his medical license certificate which was granted 1955.
He is not a big fan of old drugs, goodness he shoved me a Cymbalta prescription in my face faster than you can say depression.
I ask him about MAO's, he usally smirks, yea, bad memories and rolls his eyes back. I ask do you rerember anything past 1990? he usallly says no.
i am in the middle of a sentence, faking looking down, only to find he quickly falls into a snooze then says the last word i said, as if he was listening. Crank that dang hearing aid up to MAX! grandpa.
