trileptal has a great side effect profile, and i have experienced the typical side effects to the typical extent, and if any of them are that troubling then it sounds like too much too soon or a problem with the combo -- check with your pdoc if there are enzyme conflicts because another drug already in your regimen may increase the normal concentration level of trileptal, so your dosage effect may not be what the pdoc anticipated.
