Yes, I was extremely irritable. My daughter reminded me the other day...Mom, remember that one medicine that you were on, and the one that you used to yell at us all the time (normally I'm a pretty patient person.)
The Remeron knocked me out within an hour of taking it, and if I remember right, I had some pretty fantastic dreams on it, too!
I do not remember if I felt groggy the next day or not. But irritable, yes. I stopped taking it because I was losing my temper all the time.
Good luck...It really lifted my depressed mood, and made me feel like life was beautiful all over again. If it hadn't of been for the irritableness, I would have stayed on the med.
There wasn't alot out there when I was on the Remeron, but irritableness, yes....It was good to hear that someone else experienced that, too..and that it wasn't all in my head!
