The Remeron would in effect take the place of Paxil - since it's relatively easy to stop therapy with Remeron and not experience side effects, he felt this was the best way to go.

Titrating off Paxil is great. Great if you ever want to see how it feels to have your friggin' head spin like a top. There is a class action lawsuit against GSK for this reason - non-disclosure of withdrawl symptoms experienced by patients in their clinical trials.

Fun. Wheee. ;) I've been on Paxil for 11 years, time to see what life is like NOT being on anti-depressants.
