Paxil and children

I'm wondering if I misunderstood, I thought the ruling in June said that the FDA prohibited the sale of Paxil to children? A couple of the messages sounded like people were keeping their children on Paxil and I didn't think they were able to under this ruling.

On Thursday, June 19, 2003 the FDA ruled that Paxil should not be given to kids 18 or under

This is why we switched our daughter over to Zoloft. It seems to be doing ok now, she is on her 3rd day of the 25mg tablets and goes up to the 50's next week. She had great results on Paxil for her anxiety and PMDD.
