John:

I appreciate the suggestions and feedback. I'm big on exercise, so you don't have to convince me there.
I ride my bike a lot, usually about 15-20 miles a day, used to do tai chi, yoga, surf alot, as I am southern Californian. Unfortunately, the past year has been horrible for me as I've had two terrible knee injuries (cartilage tear, and just as a I was recovering from that, a tibular plateau fracture). This has not done wonders for my already fatalistic attitude toward life and my anxiety. A lot of the supplements you recommend (the aminos, DHEA, hormones etc.) sound similar to the stuff I've read about in Julia Ross's The Mood Cure. I think I'd have to consult with someone before bulking up on those kind of supplements. I'm planning on going to a naturopathic physician as soon as I can walk again from this last injury.
Again, thanks a lot.

Chris
