Maybe try lowering one or both doses-- you may not need such a high dose and the side effects won't be as bad also.

I was up to 90 mg. of parnate with poop out. What happened was that i was already on 400 mg. of Wellbutrin for about a year,.to augment the zoloft that wasn't working. I quit the zoloft, stayed on Wellbutrin. I tried 45 mg. of nardil for 5 weeks, 3 good days in week 3 then nothing, so my pdoc upped it to 60, which i have been on for two weeks, and i feel weird and drugged but definitely not good. I did lower the wellbutrin to 300 mg. 2 days ago, so maybe it is just withdrawal from that. Do people experience withdrawal symptoms from the wellbutrin? I am only 100 lbs., i don't know if that could have something to do with the awful side effects. Could that be the case? Also, if I'm taking so many meds, why haven't they really kicked in outside of bad side effects?Could that be the case?

I know what you mean about being so depressed that you really don't have time to wait for these meds to work. I have taken Wellbutrin off and on for four years so didn't think using it as an add-on would be too crazy. I did find that my side-effects were rather intense and have bumped back down to 60 mg Parnate and 300 mg Wellbutrin--really, that may be enough. I do know that a couple of hours after my last dose (usually around 8 PM when it should be working out of my system), I get really bad vision problems and feel totally spaced out.

So you are taking esentially the same thing i am. How long should i wait for these meds to kick in? I'm pretty sure the wellbutrin is causing your vision problesms, it's done that with me in the past. Wow, you are on a high dose. how long have you been on that dose? Is the combo working for you? If so, how long did it take to work? Did your pdoc recommend that you take that much Wellbutrin? Mine said 400 was the upper limit.
