hi there.

Over the past 5 yrs. I have tried so many different cominations it's confusing to even remember them all, although I think I do.

RE: Imipramine...I too found that while it may have worked a bit the side effect esp the dry mouth mentioned by another 'poster" was very problematic.

The best thing I think is to get that proper diagnosis from the "clinic.

Re Bezos: I have been on four different ones and change from short acting xanax and avitan to meds with longer "half-lifes" like klonopin and valium when doing better. xanax or valium have been the most evvective i feel. 3 mgs of ativan daily, to me, is not much--i needed 8 and still found it not the best. xanax i take at 8 mgs a day and when on valium 60 mgs daily (doses are high, but doc feels the need and trusts the fact that they are not abused--a big issue in the medical community.

Also, the "newer" seritonin reuptake inhibitors--ssris--(prozac, paxil ect)
and many others are helpful to many pple myself inculded. I am on Lexapro currently ( a newer for of celexa)and lamictal ( for mood swings)-- i also take ambein as needed for sleep but find the commecials for it on tv more sedating than the medication it self.

Good Luck with all...hope this helped a bit.
