That is pretty much what happened to me. I usually have a couple of beers a night and 3-4 on the weekends. Not sure if Effexor amplified the effects but, now i'm having a combination of 3-4 drinks every other night. a mix of beer or sometimes i'll just have vodka cranberry. I've always been a social drinker, but it seems that my cravings are much stronger since i've been on effexor, can't really explain it.
