I'm not sure I understand. I know that withdrawing from a benzo can cause some to experience seizures, but I have never heard of benzo withdrawal causing a stroke (not implying that it couldn't happen). I suppose a stroke could cause seizure type activity. I don't understand why your not sure if you had one or the other, or why your physicians couldn't determine which it was. They are two very distinct situations, at least I thought they were, and in the case of a stroke or seizure, both can usually be diagnosed. Is this your interpretation or is this what your doctors have told you? Were you left disabled in some manner due to a possible stroke? I'm really quite confused.
