ECT refers to electroconvulsive therapy, or shock treatments,

While most psychiatrists in the USA do not do ECT, any psychiatrist should be able to refer you to a psychiatrist who does.

BTW, EPS are not seen with some of the newer antidepressants such as Remeron, Serzone and some of the innovative treatments for people with depression such as Mirapex and Lamictal.
