Itching isn't uncommon with Lamictal. Aveeno (colloidal oatmeal) baths have been the most effective at relieving the itching and skin problems for me. It can be found in drug stores and a lot of grocery stores. Lamictal has proved to be the most effective med for me, so I'm highly motivated to wait out and do what I have to do to put up with side effects. Actually the side effects have been less problematic with Lamictal than with any other mood stabilizer/anticonvulsant.Blessings,

P.S. I also did some "careful watching" during some minor rashes, but have been able to continue with the med.
