I have taken Neurontin - it is very mild, from all accounts, and low side effect profile. But it does really help some folks. I think that was an excellent suggestion!

3 beers,
why dont you just take remeron. Its like an antidepressant, antianxiety, antihistamine, all in one. Very good ad, and DOES NOT in any way cause initial anixety or nausea. Within 1 hour after ingesting 30mg tablet, i feel sleepy, relaxed, and fall asleep for 8 hrs give or take.
Remeron beat prozac for depression in extensive studies. ALso prescork.com states adding another ssri, I prefer 100mg 5htp, help alot with depression. Adding .5mg a day of xanax wipes out anxiety. No other sleep med needed.
remeron is a life savor for people with anxiety and sleep disorder with major adjitated depression. effexor xr and remeron are touted the california rocket fuel combo. I have yet to try both.
BUT LIKE YOU i still have social phobia. I guess for now we have to stick with beer or ghb >CHUCKLE!geno
