Man, this is exactly the kind of thing I am worried about. I want to suggest adding a benzo to my mix, mainly to help with alcohol cravings, but am afraid my pdoc will react the same way yours did.

I don't understand his reluctance to add Neurontin, even with the increase in Celexa (some docs like to only change one thing at a time, as I'm sure you know). I have taken Neurontin - it is very mild, from all accounts, and low side effect profile. But it does really help some folks. I think that was an excellent suggestion!

I didn't have anxiety problems with Celexa, but I did/do with Prozac. Hopefully, you won't either.

I hope he'll reconsider Neurontin next you go in. Most people take a variety of meds to a benefit, so I find it odd that that's his concern.
