good morning janelle... it's amazing how the benzos just bounce off of you... i took .25mg klonopin yesterday @ 5:30pm and had to go to sleep earlier than i planned... i think i'm particularly susceptible at the end of the day because all my meds are wearing off... although i still need to take something to sleep at night... but now that i think about it, i've been taking the klonopin before dinner and i bet it would affect me differently if i waited until after i ate

my current med regimen is:
effexor xr 112.5mg (but i am continuing to taper that down and am planning to go off it), concerta 36mg (plan on lowering that dose back to 18mg) & wellbutrin sr 150mg (i was supposed to take 150mg 2x daily but the 2nd dose was too much too soon & i haven't tried it since

all this is supplemented with valium, xanax, the occassional ambien (only at night), and of course lately, the klonopin

whew... i feel like a walking pharmacy & now i'm planning on adding neurontin... i agree that i probably need a mood stabilizer as i also rapid cycle (off the bike :)

i don't mind telling you about my work... actually i'm touched that you even care to ask...
i'm a computer artist - i work as an art director / graphic designer for an ad agency... but do my own art as well... in fact, if you are interested, i would love for you to see my work... my url is:
http://home.earthlink.net/~lilithes/

i recently completed a couple of new pieces... just before this lastest bout of frozen nervousness hit... and if you do visit my site, i would love it if you would sign my dreambook... although that is certainly not mandatory.. :) i just love to receive those messages and re-read them often

(tina, if you are reading this, have you seen the new work?)

have you tried serzone? i've heard that can be sedating... and what about a mood stabilizer?

i am so glad that you're moving towards feeling better... and i know what you mean about knowing your potential and not wanting to settle for less... do you mind telling me a bit about yourself? your interests?

sorry this is so long...
more blessings,
v

> Well, this is how NOT to sedating meds (like benzos and Ambien) I am: I started with 10mg of Ambien (it also comes in 5mg which works for many people) and there were times I went up to 15 mg. Then when the anxiety, agitation, obsessive racing thoughts, etc. got more intense, even 15 mg Ambien did not work. I didn't dare take more because the manufacturer info says not to exceed 10 and I'd already done that!

> To answer your question about what other meds are you currently on (it's fine, no problem that you asked!) along with Klonopin (which you already know about!) I'm on EffexorXR (only 75 mg/day cuz it's too activating; plan to taper off it after next visit to pdoc when I can get onto another, SEDATING a-d!), and Zyprexa 2.5mg/night for sleep (also hope to discontinue that if I can find a sedating a-d for nighttime).
