I have unipolar depression with painful flashbacks and OCD. I have taken every medicine available in the United States, and am now on Effexor, Remeron, BuSpar, Wellbutrin, and Mirapex. All the other medicines don't help me at all--I've been on them all before, anyway.
I got up to a high dose of Mirapex from the very beginning (6 mg), and it seemed to work within a week. I have had no side-effects except for a little stomach upset which I remedy with Protonix. However, this week, it does nothing at all for me. Its the most shocking thing. I have gone to Mexico to get foreign medications before, and I think I will do that tomorrow. I want to pick up either amisulpride or reboxetine. I thought about bromocriptine, but the people on this newsgroup think that Requip would be a better idea. The problem is that there are no studies done on Requip for anything other than Parkinson's disease (contrary to Mirapex). This sucks.
