Sometimes, a dopamine agonist like Mirapex or bromocriptine can have an opposite "paradoxical" effect. Instead of causing someone to feel more activated, it can cause profound sleepiness, especially, at low dosages. If you decide to return to it, I would be curious to know if the sleepiness continues at higher dosages. It might. Have you tried adding either Zyprexa or Risperdal?

Good luck.
