Mirapex and sudden sleep

Mirapex, which I took for a sleep disorder, tried
to kill me. I'm being facetious but three times I
suddenly fell asleep while driving on a California
freeway. One time - thankfully at mid-day - I
changed lanes.

Anyone else having this experience? I stopped Mirapex
completely. No warning from my physician. But I am
now aware of the manufacturer's warning.
