I've been to the "Aspartame Kills" and "Mission Possible" web sites. I found those web sites when I searched the internet trying to find out why I craved Diet Coke so intensely. Many years ago, I smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day and quit cold turkey with no problems, however, I've been trying for the past 6 years to give up Diet Coke with limited success. I don't know what the truth is but I know something that creates addiction can't be good for you. As of today, I am 2 weeks aspartame free. I think I deserve an AA chip.

When it is alone, it floods the brain and causes the serotonin necessary for emotional health to lower and from this comes seizures, depression, rage, anxiety, suicidal thoughts. This is well documented. In the early 70's Dr. Waisman fed 7infant Rhesus monkeys phenylalanine and milk. One died and the other 6 had grand mal seizures. When the phenylalanine stopped, so did the seizures.
