Thank you for all of your information. I definitely think this is worth looking into. I have never heard of aspartame causing diabetes. My son did not start using it until after he was dx, in 1994. I have no way of knowing what is the cause , except for the fact that we have a very strong family hx of autoimmune disease ( not necessarily diabetes) . I will take your advice and e-mailBetty Martini and see if she can enlighten me further. Thanks again for the great info. this is really a conspiracy isn't it?-Cynthia
