Do either B3 (niacin, niacinamide, inositol hexaniacinate) or B5 (pantothenic acid)cause insomnia or sleep disturbances?

>Yes, for sure. Especially if you take them closer to bed time. In fact, I found most B vitamins in higher doses to cause really, really bad psychiatric side effects. These are now becoming more widely known. Be very careful.

Thanks. I tried pantothenic acid (B5) for stress and anxiety and thought it helped. But my insomnia seemed to worsen. Also tried inositol hexaniacinate for Raynaud's. Warmer hands and feet but, again, worsening sleep. Even if I take in the AM and not PM.

I've read that inositol it has anti-depressant properties, and *might* induce mania. This, and personal experience with it, leads me to believe that it is pretty stimulating. I would definitely take that one in the morning ...
