What was it, what was it, the indefinable quality about him that kept you?
Excitement .. of what kind?
The way he walks?
The shape of his head, his hands, his legs (I had a boyfriend who had beautiful, gorgeous male legs, my god that was such a turn-on, and I loved what he did for a living, you know, he was a prof. diver but a criminal too, I was an idiot to go out with him but there are things that can draw you to a person like nothing else, it's just indefinable. And when you break up, you're glad)
The way he said certain things?
A way of grinning, maybe, or crunching the beer can in some assertive silly male gesture,
maybe his toes were particularly attractive ...
There's lots about him you didn't like. The major things, actually, that society would go, omigod what does she see in THAT? So what Did you see?
