I don't think it is silly for you to 'ramble'. I know, in my own case, it is an important thing for me. I work through stuff when I 'ramble'. Articulating it... Helps me to process it. Looking back... I look back through the archives sometimes and increasingly, now, I see just how far I've come.

You have memories of reading other people's 'ramblings' and it helped you. You identify with parts of it... And it helps you feel connected. I can't remember how many lurkers there are / were here. I remember being astounded at how many lurkers there were. Most people were appalled to think of all these people reading posts... Following along without posting... But I guess it depends on how you think of the lurkers and what they are doing.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if there are people out there who have followed you over the years. Not in a creepy way. But getting some comfort from your posts. From reading your articulation of... Life. Life as you see it.

I remember posters used to post sometimes. Some of them... Would just post an odd post or two and then vanish (to the best of my knowledge). Some people aren't particularly verbal / articulate. They can't write stuff down and get it out there that way.

You have a gift, dude. Really very impossibly hard to say why people don't respond... But I bet you have fans out there. I bet you do.
