Lots of my posts didn't get responses. But that was okay - I didn't particularly expect or even particularly want responses. I mean... I was happy enough to get responses. But that wasn't *why* I was posting them. I like sending some stuff to the wind...
But IF you particularly want responses for something... Then I found that strategy made responses more likely. And if I wanted a response from a particular poster (because I thought they might understand more because of similar experience or something) then I found taking particular care to respond to them was likely to help.
Of course things are tricky now, because of less posters. Less posters. Less posts to respond to etc...
