hey, Dinah. I was feeling down, which explains my bummer post.
I went to a state school. Went I went back, there was this surge of hostility towards me. It was incredible.
You're right about work. Now that my symptoms are under control, maybe I can find something, and eventually work on getting a degree (finally...).
And disability. I'm probably going to get denied. Yes, I have Bipolar, and its bad and yes it has interfered with my functioning in the past, often severely, but I respond well to meds and therapy, so I don't know that I'm what they're looking for. The sad thing, I was hoping to get disability in part b/c I heard that some corporations like to hire people on disability b/c they receive tax breaks or something. I thought that way my spotty job history wouldn't matter quite as much--I could use my disabled status to get a job and then get off (or reduce) the disability payments.
Oh well. Thanks for being rational and helpful.
