Do you think some people just shouldn't work?

Posted by Christ_empowered on August 30, 2011, at 18:07:10

I am, of course, talking about myself in particular when I say "some people." I've had short-lived jobs before. I usually ended up getting my hours cut or being avoided in public by co-workers or getting the worst shifts (I got to work doubles on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New years!)

And then when I tried to go back to college...the cruelty I experienced, from both faculty and other students, was almost unbearable. So, now, the question is: what do I do? I take medications, so my core symptoms are adequately suppressed/controlled, but I'll never be "normal" enough for most people.

Maybe applying for disability is the best thing I can do? Do any of you out there have similar experiences to share?

Thanks.
