No. It was suggested that I might want to because I have some mobility / balance issues with walking, but I never really got the hang of putting a useful amount of weight on them. Either put most of my weight on them or easier not to put any weight on them at all (to carry them, basically). Other people seem capable of using them to better effect, though.

Strength training is the most effective way of getting strong (go figure, heh).
