I have a pair, and when I do use them, they take so much pressure off of your feet and knees, and in particular, your back. I've always been a *big* guy, but psych meds haven't helped, and keep me 30-40 pounds overweight. I am going to get these out now that the nice weather is here, and see if I can shed this Canadian-winter weight. Definitely, get yourself a pair. As a former runner, you must know too that having the best footware for support is also super-important. Good luck!
