My husband and I have a "every man for himself" attitude about laundry. He does his, I do mine, and he does the towels and stuff. And my son's laundry. Which is the price he pays for never thinking I do it well enough. And I totally agree with him. He does help me with my laundry by reminding me to move mine along when I forget it in the washer or dryer, and by on occasion getting fed up enough to load the hamper with my stuff himself. Or rerun the washer because my clothes have sat wet too long. I have a tendency to forget what isn't directly in front of me.
I imagine we'll be teaching my son any day now to do his own. I don't ever remember not doing mine at home, although I'm sure there was such a time.
