I think on this thread, just because of some of the common ways men and women *are,* it's easy to think either you and Sigi were kidding/teasing.....OR that you were not.
Depends on people's life experiences, I'll bet. Maybe to some women, a man actually knowing a whit about washing clothes is so incredible, they can barely imagine posts about it that aren't joking. Then, OTOH, I was married - ages ago, oh, like when dinosaurs walked the Earth - to a guy who LOVED laundry and wouldn't let me do it. Hey - fine by me!!
I think I just took you at face value (seriously) and Phillipa though you were playing around. Tongue in cheek, you might say.
