Years ago - decades I guess - maybe 40 years ago, I saw a sign in the Montreal subway saying, "Absolutely No Spitting"!!! English & all!!

I guess the reason it seemed so astonishing was that back in those days, people DIDN'T spit!! Unfortunately, nowadays, I see "young people" spitting! I find it AWFUL.
