I have a psycho kitty as well. When i first met her she was up in the rafters of my barn (I get more cats out of barns).
She was so feral that she wouldn't get near me at all. I had to put food in the rafters. It took weeks for her to just eat on the floor of the barn.
She sleeps on the pillow next to me now.
