Descartes and the meaning of life

Remember René Descartes, the French philosopher who made famous the quote "I think, therefore I am..."? Anyway, this is how he died.

Descartes was having a drink at his local bar when the bartender asked him: "Would you like another beer, René?".

Descartes responded: "I think not, thank you," and his body suddenly vanished.
