I'm still working on baby sweater with chunky red wool. about 80% done. I still have to finish 1 sleeve (maybe tonight), and the collar. Then I need to pack it up and write a letter to my friend that I made it myself to explain away the funny little loops (2 of them) in the left sleeve. I "hope" it fits a real baby. I'm going to see if it fits a paper towel roll. figure that will be a good way to tell.
After that, I'm going to be making a light pink (eat your heart out ElaineM!) merino wool mesh vest. The knit is super big and stretchy, so I hope it goes fast. In the summer I can wear it over a camisole or spagetti strap top for a layered effect.
then... I have about 7 balls of yarn. that will keep me busy for a while, I bet.
oh another friend just had her baby. if I've got leftover baby pink merino, maybe I'll make some booties or a baby hat.
hubby has ordered an orange knit cap from me too.
so many stitches, so little time....
sigh..
