I'm no longer addicted to psycho-babble

Posted by Llurpsie_Noodle on March 1, 2007, at 10:01:20

February, 2007 is the month when I became un-addicted to babble by:

1) limited checking the boards to only a few boards
2) tried to stay busy doing other stuff, like knitting and dissertating

It's much better to look forward to spending happy time on babble than it is to feel compelled to click click click. looking for answers about myself, the answers that I will have to discover on my own. I cannot expect others to have my answers.

BUT, it has been hard, particularly at the beginning. I was worried people wouldn't like me as much. I felt massive guilt because I wasn't keeping up with some of the longer sagas, the strife on the admin board, or the daily lives of posters that I feel camaraderie with. Would people still like me if I don't keep up to speed on the latest developments in babbleonia?

I also felt like crap during much of February- my mind and life were very unstable. I tend to post more when I'm feeling happy and helpful. I'm like a cat- when injured I run and hide.

But thank you all who have reached out to me and responded to my sporadic posts and sent me babble-mails to see how Llurpsie's doing.

best to you :)

-Ll
