Italy is a very nice country. But I dont like the country in the country there ;-) From the cultural standpoint, eating, beaches and especially the protected natural forest. The islands and vulcans are very nice also. I like the "dolce far niente" lifestyle of the people. They have very low rate of heart problems compared with the countries in the north eg. Germany. German people work like hell everyday.

Greece is very nice too but the capital very dirty.
Peloponnes is a half-island connected by a bridge where you can see the landscape and much of the old greek culture, colosseums, buildings, statues...
