I hope I didn't offend you or anyone else by being too blasé about the subject! That wasn't my intention. I guess I just try to lighten the situation sometimes, when maybe it really shouldn't be lightened.
The situation in New Orleans haunts me. I can't believe it was so mishandled by public officials. I had to force myself to stop watching the coverage on it because I felt like the shock and overwhelming sadness were taking me over. I especially can't stand to see children hurt.
