We had terrible storms here last night with high winds and tornados. No electricity in my neighborhood and they tell us it could be two days before it's restored. We lost so many beautiful trees, it's sad to drive anywhere. I try to only look straight ahead so maybe I won't see the worst of it. We were lucky, though. All our trees are fine.
Luckily, a lot of businesses in town DO have electricity so we can go out and do something other than sit here in the steamy dark and stare at each other.
I'm thankful I have a laptop with a nice battery so I can be here a little bit.
