can god make a rock so big that god can't move it?

Posted by alexandra_k on September 11, 2005, at 16:52:10

if he can...

then he isn't all powerful because god can't move the rock.

if he can't...

then he isn't all powerful because god can't make the rock.

Is the concept of an all powerful being contradictory?

If we say that god cannot perform anything that is logically contradictory then is this a limitation on gods power?

Any thoughts???
