Oh I could send them, I suppose. But would they make it? Not a chance. I doubt I could even hand deliver them to you. Delicate little things. Subject to tipping, leaks, the pastry failing.

I guess you'll have to make do with a vicarious yum thing.

Maybe being a Canuck is a wonderful thing all in itself. I honestly didn't know they were of Canadian origin. They're everywhere, and I just figured they were everywhere everywhere, ya know?

Like flavoured potato chips (crisps). That is a Canadian thing, going back to the 60s. I know that's worldwide now, but we started it.

I can't stop thinking about that last butter tart, being all lonely and everything, in its little clear tray. Poor thing.
