Sad Tale

I've been an infrequent visitor to the Babble Theme Park over the last few years. I'm usually going through a cycle of medication changes and experiments and come here to find out all I can.

Once I get my meds sorted out on the main babble board, I hang around and help others for awhile. In time I don't want to be repetitive, so I move to other boards.

Reacting badly to some medication or other, I end up drinking or doing herbal drugs and chime in on the Substance Use board. Again, I might hang around for awhile but move on when I get back on my feet.

I throw in my two cents on the alternative and faith boards. I'm not in any real therapy so I have nothing to contribute on the psych board. I'm not in any relationship so the relationship board is out. That leaves social and administrative.

I don't find cyber socializing that fulfilling so I move on to the administrative board. If the social board is the row of pews in the front where people sing, clap hands, and hug, the administrative board is the section of pews closest to the door where those bored with the service, and not sure why they are there any more, sit - and grumble. At a party they are the group off to the side, not participating in the party but talking about the party.

And, too, I like to understand the process behind anything even if I don't participate. I'll plan the picnic but not attend the picnic. There's no sense enjoying the moment if I'm never in it.

This is my sad tale.
