Faux finishes for walls

Posted by Wildflower on September 7, 2004, at 10:17:04

From reading this board, I know that there are many PB domestic divas out there. I just happen to be a domestic disaster... I'm the one that figured out the hard way not to bend over while painting a closet. I've got two white butt marks on the back of my black shorts to prove it. ;-)

Anyway, I'm renovating my bathroom and I've discovered that the walls in my bathroom are uneven (they're plaster versus drywall) and painting them a solid color will only enhance the flaws. The paint store mentioned that faux finishing may be my only bet but it looks pretty complicated.

Have any of you tried sponging or ragging on any of your walls? Is it hard? Easy? Tips?

HELP!
