Well, I guess that I have to say that I'm with the dissenting camp. I watched about 40 minutes of the movie, and couldn't seem to find the part that made me want to keep watching.
I have seen at least one good movie this year... Whale Rider. I also liked Finding Nemo, and was re-acquainted with some old favorites; namely The Ghost and Mrs Muir, Monty Python and the Search for the Holy Grail. Oh yeah, The Four Feathers is good.
I think we're demonstrating though, how different we all are. I don't think that 'goodness' is a quantifiable aspect of anything. Those who like it will do so, and those who don't will not.
