I always used to have a really untidy room (with little places to put my feet amongst the mess to get to the bed), but I threw out loads of stuff (or gave it to charity) and got a load more storage and that makes the place look alot tidier. And if people are coming round and will see the room, I just shove everything in a closet, make the bed and have a quick vacuum (hoover).
Do you really need the old clothes, half used bottles of hair gel and old school books?
